It's a bit difficult to get identical quantities out of the two tubes if you are using a small amount, but the plungers give you a head start versus two bottles.Once opened (and tightly re-capped without contaminating the contents), the white substance in one tube hardened over about 3 months until it was impossible to depress the plunger.
